Did you ever wonder what the name Philadelphia means??
Well I did--[I'm into breaking down words, and their origins]

The word Philadelphia is a Greek term. "Philos" means "love" and "adelphos" means "brother" hence the nickname "city of brotherly love". It was named by William Penn, back in 1681, he wanted it to be a place where everyone would be accepting of others and citizens would be free to worship their religion of choice, without fear of persecution.
