Even with the rain fall..the Phillies fans were still left high and dry last night..I didn't watch the entire game, but I tuned in just as things got interesting.
For the 1st time ever in World Series history a game has been suspended half way through..As soon as the Rays scored to tie the game, the rain got heavier, the conditions were too poor to continue so they pumped the brakes on the game..
And the weather is not expected to get any better until around Wednesday, but whenever the game does resume, it will pick up where it left off with the Phillies at bat in the bottom of the 6th.
Some of the fans feel cheated of course, but what else could have been done??
Talk about a cliffhanger...
