Salute to Summer

Rooooooad Tripping was how i spent my Labor Day 2008. The 8hour round trip excursion to New England, was filled with much chatter-[gossip], laughter, and snacking with my gentlemen friends. The rest of my holiday weekend was spent with friends & fam, kickin back with great food, music, and excellent drinks.
And although Labor Day left us, just as fast as it arrived,I still had a blast and enjoyed every minute.
BUT
The highlight of my my entire weekend was the discovery of NUVO [[sparkling liquer]] on the shelves of our local Wine & Spirits! I haven't spotted this anywhere in Philly, so finding it at home was quite surprising.



My friends and I are avid listeners of the Wendy Williams show, and we've heard her talk about this pink drink for months, so the need for us to try it was long overdue.
Chilled NUVO is great straight out of the bottle, but we mixed ours, with a splash of another 'spirit'-[I'll share that in an upcoming 'Drink of the Day' post]
